Do you prefer a laptop or a tablet?

Both are portable, and you can do the same things on either one—though a tablet might be a bit more awkward to use due to the lack of a keyboard (even though you can add one), and the screen is usually smaller (depending on the specific tablet model). So, which do you prefer and why? Both have their pros and cons; I’m not sure if the battery life is the same for both, but what would you rather use: a tablet or a notebook?
