Would you rather use a plane or a ship?

There are so many people around the world who travel through different means. Many people use planes, while others prefer ships. Many people would love to experience oceans and this is why they may prefer ships. Some people prefer flying and they would prefer planes. So, what would you choose and why? I would prefer planes due to the fact that I like arriving at my destination as soon as possible.
