Who Actually Wins in War?
In wars like the one between the U.S. and Iran, does anyone really win? Or does everyone lose in the end?

Militarily the US might win the war. If the US decides to bomb Iran, the country will turn into rubles in minutes. But the US winning over Iran will also be a loss of humanity. I don't agree with the Islamic rule in Iran but Persia, as Iran was called in ancient times, is one of the oldest civilizations on earth.
No one! People get hurt and die. Its terrible and sad! :(

This right here! Absolutely no one wins in war, thousands of innocent people end up getting gravely injured or die. Their homes are destroyed and it's not even their faults. It also costs so much money that could be going towards something much more productive and helpful for the nation that wants to initiate the war.
This is a question that sounds simple but the answer isn't straightforward. Nobody really wins. I remember one news I watch, people are suffering while the leaders are busy talking big grammars. Prices will rise, insecurity will increase and everything would scatter. It's the citizens that suffered it the most.
Honestly, I have never understood wars other than it being that the leaders of the countries involved just want the power and to feel as though they are more powerful and superior to the other country.
No one wins when it comes to war; all parties end up with deaths, and in the end, what does it really fix?
If we're talking about the war with Iran, then the entire world would win if we can get Iran to stop building nuclear weapons!
It's as if the news outlets are downplaying the fact that Iran HATES most of our countries, and especially the USA. They've been saying Death to America for a decade or so now and people turn a blind eye to it. The other politicians used to insist that Iran was a threat, until now...why is that?
I'd much rather have to deal with a few months of higher prices because of this war, than to have Iran stupidly set off weapons they shouldn't. Don't you?
@MogKat and @Nomad That's not true. Actually, Iran's leadership, especially the supreme leader of Iran have clearly declared that they are not creating a nuclear bomb. They are clearly not interested in creating nuclear weapons. They have even issued a religious verdict stating that creating such kind of weapons is a loss of humanity. So, the Iran's leadership is clearly right regarding this stance. Nuclear weapons can lead to a loss of humanity and no country should ever use it.

I don't believe the Iranian government one bit. They have killed thousands of their own people without remorse, so why would they even blink at the thought of being able to kill Americans? They hate us! They've been extremely vocal about their hate and their wish for the USA to end. They can't be trusted.

This is not at all true. You cannot generalize people like that. Majority of the Iranians are good people, including their government. A wise person never generalizes like that. The Iranian people were invited by Pakistan to establish peace and the Iranian government accepted their invitation. Having said that, donald trump also made statements such as wiping out entire Iranian civilization in a single night. I am quite sure that his statements do not reflect the entire American people. Iranian people are just against the American government, not American people as a whole.
Just the weapon dealers, making tons of money from selling stuff.
Are there really any winners in war? There are serious casualties at both sides. It's why I don't support war or any kind. The world should find a way to love one another and live peacefully.

I am not against Iran developing nuclear weapons. If rouge state like North Korea can have nuclear, why not Iran. I was just trying to answer the question: who wins the war.
In a situation of full scale war, the US has an upper hands. Iran's resistance cannot hold for too long if the US launches full scale war.
