Forum currency is one of the common things seen on most forums. Most forums I see are rewarding forum currency for posting activities or daily login. Do you also have forum currency, what do you use it for? is there a fiat value of your forum currency?
We don't have that here and I don't think we will need it here. I have used it on other forums though that I've run. I quite enjoy the one for Xenforo as you can purchase account changes such as ability to change your username color and stuff like that.
I currently don't have a currency system set up on any of my forums at the moment. Zippy Promotion would probably be the only one that would make sense to have one, but I want to keep all of our services completely free of charge. Plus I don't think there's a forum currency mod for UBB Threads.
Not in this forum, since there aren't any here, but in other forums I'm on I do get coins as a reward.
Not at the moment. I wouldn't mind putting it on my hosting or music lesson forums (not the religious one because of the whole money corrupting religion thing). However, I'm not sure if the phpBB forum currencies are reliable, but I'm guessing they are. Of course, they are not officially approved mods on phpBB.com.
I have been a part of many forums where they had this feature and many of those forums were paid to post forums. Having g a forum currency is a really nice idea. Many people have a forum and having a specific type of currency can make things run in a proper order in case if you run a paid to post forum.
