To be honest, some of these “everybody loves it” movies are overhyped. I have watched a couple of them and I'm just there like “so this is the hype?” no emotional connection, nothing. Basically, I feel like people just want to follow the vibes sometimes. I realise that not every trending movie is good. Have you come across any?
There are other reasons why a movie is hyped and those reasons have nothing to do with the movie as such It has to do with who has produced it. who has directed and who is acting in it
There are plenty of overrated movies out there. There was an over-hyped movie I watched recently that just left me blank like “ is this the hype? Sometimes it's just a bandwagon people follow. I am very careful of what I watch these days.
