What's the strangest thing you believed as a child that you still kinda wonder about?

I used to think if I swallow an orange seed, tree would grow inside my stomach.🤣 Till today it's still very funny to me, but on a lowkey, I wonder how we just believed anything back then. Now that we are older, different kinds of fear have replaced them. So, instead of the seed, things like “will the money be enough till month end?” have replaced them. Our childhood was so simple and interesting. What do you?

I do not wonder about it any more but I believed my mother when she told me that a poor lady did not want me and so she kept me.

That orange seed thing is the same here, I swear I avoid swallowing it back then. 🤣 adulthood is more of worries. As a child, it's imagination, now you are worried about the bills.

I used to believe that the moon follows me everywhere I went. It used to baffle me then because I would think, how does it follow only me and leave the rest of the people?

Well that is what being young does to you.

I believed something similar like you when I was still a kid. I always felt like the trees and grasses are chasing us in the car when driving. It was a crazy experience growing up.
