Do you still wear watches?

H Henry · 6 months ago · 18 replies · 31K

The use of mobile devices provided another means for users to know time and dates. That has led to many abandoning the use of watches because its function is not essential again. Do you still make use of one , or doesn't it bother you to use it again?

I have a smartwatch but I don't wear it all the time. My partner has one that they can tap it on the paywave on eftpos machines and pay for things.

Yes, but more for style and beauty than for their usefulness; I simply use them because they look great.

Why? Did you never use it or did you stop using it? And why?

I don't wear wrist watches as I used to and that started ever since I have been using smartphone. Most of us don't bother ourselves wearing wrist watch any longer since we can quickly check the time on a phone.

Only occasionally, when I remember I have one!

Yes of course, I still wear wrist watches all the time. Infact, there's no way I would leave my house without putting on one, my three rings and bracelet. I'm a big fan for expensive wrist watches.

The kind of wrist watch someone wears determine the kind of respect they are given my watch freaks.

My most expensive and valued wrist watch is my Blancpain. It's a wrist watch for real made men.

Yes, I wear a watch. I'm one of those rare individuals who doesn't have a phone.

My outfit is never complete if I don’t wear a wristwatch. I am a huge fan of it and I have quite a lot in my drawer.

Watches never liked my wrist, always gave me a rash. So I stopped using watches when phones became a thing.

I also have a thing with using my smartphone to tell time when I'm wearing a wrist watch. For me, it's more of making me look complete than just for telling time.

I still wear watches, but let us not deceive ourselves, it's mostly for designs now 😄. Phone already tells the time and weather.

I do not wear watches at all. I do not like to wear watches. Having said that, I have rarely worn a watch in my life. During my childhood, I used to wear certain watches specifically designed for kids. Now I no longer wear them.

I am like this when I am preparing for any event where I need to dress fine. Wearing a watch is a must in most of the cases.
