VPN softwares are one of the most used security apps today to protect someone's privacy online. Data is worth so much money which is why stopping companies and individuals from being able to steal yours is very important.
What kind of VPN software are you using?
Just for work, every time I try to use one at home it just slows my internet speed.
I do make use of VPN's at home, but I mainly use the free one that is built into Opera GX at the moment. As much as it is a good, free option if you are looking for a VPN that doesn't cost a lot or even anything if you need that, it can be quite slow a lot of the time, but that is the only downfall I have with the built-in Opera GX VPN.
I do certainly use VPN. I need it to make sure that I stay protected online. However, sometimes use VPN to access websites and applications that are not available in my country. For example, I need telegram and I use VPN to gain access to it.
I currently am not using a VPN, I have used Proton's free VPN in the past though. I know people will tell you not to use a free one but I trust Proton, it's the only free one I trust. They also offer a paid one as well so if I ever wanted to upgrade I could.
