Do you think forums are taken less seriously due to the constant opening and closing of forums?

Something I have noticed a lot of, is those who tend to open forums and then close them not too long after, whether that be because they do no have the time, or they had high hopes and when their goals were not met quick enough they just gave up.

Do you think that forums are being taken less seriously now due to the constant opening and closing of forums? Do you take forums less seriously that are opened by those who open and close them frequently?

@Shortie Well, I think that it requires a lot of dedication and patience to run any kind of forum. A person should never expect a forum to become popular overnight. I have been a part of so many forums and I have noticed that forums do become popular. Therefore, it is not a really wise idea to close a forum too quickly.
