Do you prefer watching movies in a theater or comforting at home?

The last time I stepped out from Filmhouse, I checked how much I spent on popcorn, drinks, transport and the movie ticket, it was so huge. As much as cinema is interesting, watching movies at home saves you financially. You can pause or even sleep a little if the movie is becoming boring. You can't do that in cinemas. Now, home streaming is winning gradually.

I love going to the movie theater, it's such a fun experience that never gets old. I agree, popcorn, drink, and food at the theater is super expensive. I don't go all the time, but I also have a membership with my local movie theater that lets me see 1 free movie each month, as well as save on concessions. I also love that movie credits roll over each months so I can accumulate unused credits and go with my family or friends if I miss a month or two. I enjoy watching movies in the comfort of my home as well, especially in bed since you can lay down and fall asleep right after, but I will always prefer the theater for the big screen, the sound quality, and the tasty snacks.

Depends on the film.

If it's something I want to see, I'll make an effort to try to watch it in the theater. If it's something I'm the fence about, I'll think about it before making the decision. I have a decent movie set-up in my house so I have no problem watching them at home either.

I would pick watching at home anytime. I enjoy just settling in with Netflix, getting comfortable, and not having to deal with queues or distractions at the cinema.

Definitely at home. Hate when people talk and the noise of the eating and opening of food! Ugh. So annoying.
