Does your work use AI yet?

I know there's a thread asking if AI would replace your job or change it but I'm curious to see how many companies are using AI now. My work has been using AI since at least late last year, if not early this year. I've started to notice more and more posters are being created via AI, the newsletter that gets sent out to everyone in the office is also generated via AI. I remember last year posters weren't made by AI, also the higher ups send out emails talking about where they're using AI and someone even asked if they would stop using AI, but the person in charge of my area of work basically said it's here to stay.

We deal with a lot of classified and DoD‑related material at my job, so our situation is pretty different. They actually did try rolling out a super‑restricted version of Copilot for a short time, but they realized almost immediately that it wasn’t going to work for our environment. Between the security requirements and the limitations they had to put on it, it ended up being more trouble than it was worth.

So now we’re at the opposite extreme; zero access to any AI services at all. Not even the “safe” or internal ones. I get why, given the nature of the work, but it’s still funny watching other companies go all‑in on AI while ours slammed the brakes the moment they saw the complications.

Yes, I mean, it's not that I use it exclusively, but I use AI as a tool in everything I do, so the answer is yes.
