Do you care about getting every achievement?

I don't actually care about getting 100% of the achievements in a game. Once the main story wraps up and I’ve had my fun, I’m usually ready to move on to the next title.

I get the appeal for completionists, but spending hours hunting collectables, doing tedious grindy challenges, or replaying on absurd difficulties feels more like a chore than actual gaming. For me, gaming is about the experience, not checking boxes.

Are you a die-hard trophy hunter, or do you just play until you’re done?

No, generally not, but I do try; it’s very satisfying to complete a game 100%—just to have it as a memento and as a goal to achieve—but no, I don’t care at all about getting every single achievement; completing the game is more than enough to make me happy.

What if it’s a simulator game and it can be kept played infinitely, even after completing every achievement? Would you still continue playing the game and trying out different scenarios or modes?

Depending on how much I enjoy the game, I would play it casually—every now and then—and, without even trying, I’d end up unlocking an achievement simply by playing; assuming, of course, that it works the way you’re describing.
