I do.use a soft medium size toerl. I go with a washable wet compartment or temporary water-resistant pouch . I avoid using any long sealed storage. At home,after the run I remove the towel to wash and dry. Then I would air my gym bag or backpack to get rid of any damp smell.
I don't carry most of the time cause it feels more like a chore to carry one, and over time, it becomes tiresome.
