There is no doubt that technology could be misused against any kind of nation on earth. Military technology has been developing so much and this is one of the main concerns in the noern era. So, are you afraid of technology?
Smart watches may look like random watches. However, they are special watches that you could connect to your phone. They are used to keep an eye on calls, text messages, and other notifications. They are also used to monitor heart rate as well. So, do you use smart watches?
Many people use mouse when it comes to using PCs. Many people still use regular mouse. However, nowadays many people prefer to use wireless mouse with their PCs. So, do you use wireless mouse?
I think that Blockchain technology and AI technology are the most impressive technologies I have ever witnessed ever. Both of them are major technological advancements. This is my perspective. So, according to you, what's the most impressive technology breakthrough you have ever witnessed?
Well, if I could bring one discontinued tech product, then I would certainly choose Nokia phones. I really loved Nokia phones. Apart from Nokia phones, I would also love to see PlayStation One as well. I really enjoyed playing games on Playstation One. If you could bring back one discontinued tech product, what would it be?
I swear down, all these smart home automation gadgets are not what people say they are. I get frustrated with mine every nine and then. It's worse especially if you have unstable electricity. Don't get me wrong, the smart routine makes sense in places where electricity is steady.
I tried to generate a banner image yesterday on Midjourney, the image was having six fingers with three legs. 😂 But after I tweaked the prompts a little for like two hours, I finally got a satisfactory image. I didn't believe it could come out that good. To be honest, spending hours to generate just a single image is overwhelming.
I thought about placing this in the gaming section but i decided to drop it here since it's about hardware. Mobile processors have made massive improvements recently, with brands utilizing advanced MediaTek and Snapdragon chipsets that can handle high-end gaming and complex emulation with ease. We are now at a point where a mid-range smartphone can comfortably emulate classic PlayStation 2 or GameCube titles on the go. Do you think mobile devices are becoming a legitimate alternative to traditional handheld consoles, or are there still some limitations?
Which of this do you prefer for your online work laptop or desktop computer which of them do you really like to use and feel convenient with.
What’s your favorite/go-to laptop brand(s)?
For me, when it comes to gaming laptops, I tend to go with Dell/Alienware. I have had the least amount of hardware issues with them. Software can be hit-or-miss, Windows gonna Windows….but I haven’t had too much trouble with Alienware.
As for work laptops, I tend to go for Macbooks, they’re just cleaner and easier to work/code/write with in my personal opinion, plus I have an IPhone so getting my text messages coming through my laptop when i’m doing other things on it makes things a bit easier for sure.
What do you think? What laptop brands do you like to use?
To tell the truth, traditional Google search has turned into a complete ads hub and it is becoming difficult to gain access to one real fact in time. So, I don't waste my time anymore, I go straight to Perplexity or ChatGPT, drop my query and they give me the exact facts with the needed links under five seconds without burning my data and time. But some people are still arguing that AI chatbots will only give you wrong information. Is this true?
Social media sites are full of bullies and toxic people. It's why many people now prefer to use forums because they are more homely. X is one of the worst social media site where people are abused in the must condescending manner and nothing is done about it.
Have you ever been verbally abused on any social media site?
What version of AI do you prefer? The paid or the free version?
For me I prefer the free because most AI paid accounts are about $30-$40 NZD a month for me where that money could be spent elsewhere.
The thing I struggle with AI is with the free version there is a daily limit for images and sometimes the AI doesn't get my prompts right and whenever I have to get it to try again I lose my daily credits.
AI can help us learn various subjects. In fact, AI can help us learn complex topics. So, I think that AI can actually help students in many ways, and I do not think that students are having a harder time learning different things. So, is AI actually beneficial for students?
What is the most disappointing thing about AI?
Mobile gaming is here to stay & with recent partnership with football/soccer teams. It has jetted off to indeed new heights. Have you seen the use of gaming platforms that many European football clubs have endorsed? Which is the best?
With the rapid advancement and push for AI between the world’s super powers, do you think AI will become dangerous to the point of where we might see ourselves in a terminator situation?
Do you think it’ll be able to stay under control so it won’t get to that point? What are your overall thoughts on AI? Personally, I don’t like it, I think it kills jobs from working people and makes PC parts go through the roof cuz of the data centers. I shouldn’t have to pay nearly $6000 for a gaming laptop.
With the rapid rise of generative AI tools for images, video, and design assets has completely divided the creative community. While these tools can help make the creative process a lot easier and faster, none creatives also have access to them. With AI tools a person who has zero knowledge about graphic designing can actually design a flyer with the right prompts. Due to this creatives now see these tools as a threat to not just their source of income but also to the trade itself as they feel heavy reliance on automation strips away the raw intentional human touch and emotions. What's your take on this?
Recently I joined this site which is touted as a social media site. The navigation of the site is difficult. I wrote a post and no credit or rewards for the same. And, no explanation about it on the site. I am really confused. Are you on it?
I just want people to voice this out, and many of us have already seen this coming, but the fact that these AI companies are actually willing to collect people's information without consent is truly alarming, and I ask whether there is any fix tothis
We're moving past robots that just follow pre-programmed routines into ones running actual autonomous AI decision-making — reacting, adapting, and "thinking" in real time without human input. China's recent humanoid robot showcases reportedly pushed this further than Tesla's Optimus. Does an autonomous AI brain in a human-shaped body excite you, or does it cross into "this is how sci-fi movies start" territory? Where should the limits be?
Been thinking about this a lot lately since my phone storage is always full lol. There's always that ONE app though that no matter how much space you need to clear, it's never getting deleted. My answer: probably PayPal. What’s yours?
Feels like every week there's a new AI tool doing something that used to take actual human skills. What jobs do you think will become obsolete in the next 24 months?
Noticed I can barely watch a full video without checking something else at the same time now. Anyone else feel like this got worse over the years?
I think mine's way shorter than it used to be.
Feels like they're becoming more common every year. Would you actually purchase one or even get in one, or are you not ready to hand over control like that?
