There are emojis for it, but I want some reactions for my new Forum Spark sports forum.
Creating a user-friendly forum could be a really huge challenge for many people. Many users and members of the forum may struggle a lot when it comes to navigating the forum or browsing the forum. I think that selecting the right forum software may also play a huge role. I have visited various forums that have an exceptional forum design and navigating the forum is not an issue. However, some pages on certain forums lag a lot. How do you deal with this?
I have noticed that Forum Spark is becoming very popular in the forum world, and I will admit, from what I have seen, it does look like an amazing forum option for those who wish to start out a new forum, which I am currently looking into.
I have seen so much about what people enjoy about Forum Spark, but nothing so far about anything anyone would change if they could.
What would you change on Forum Spark if you could?
I have been using ForumSpark for around 6 months or more, and so far, the one feature I would say that I like the most would have to be just how easy it is to install both themes and extensions.
When it comes to using ForumSpark yourself, what would you say has been your favourite feature?
Which version of Forum Spark are you using?
I’m on v2.0 right now and it’s really easy to use.
What would you like to see next from ForumSpark?
I’m currently using Xenforo and it’s a powerful bit of kit but I’ve seen some boards on Forum Spark and tried a little demo myself. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I wonder as an active community, just how good is this piece of kit? I’m looking for first hand opinions as may switch when my Xenforo licence is up.
What is your favorite thing about the Forum Spark platform?
If you’re still using version 1.0, what would make you want to upgrade to 2.0?
How can Forum Spark get your forum more activity?
Forum Spark is an incredible project that truly brings back strong Zetaboards vibes — a platform I genuinely miss. It captures that classic forum feel while adding modern improvements.
Cedric is doing an excellent job developing and maintaining the platform, and Jamie — the original founder — also did an amazing job building the foundation. The progress and effort behind it are impressive.
Setup is straightforward, and both the settings and forum creation process are easy to navigate. I also really like the directory that has been set up for forums using Forum Spark — it adds great visibility and organization for communities.
The only improvement I’d love to see is making theme imports simpler and more accessible. That would make customization even smoother for users.
I’m looking forward to the continued success of the platform and believe it has strong potential to become something on the level of ProBoards.
