It’s one of the worst movies in history—boring, with an absurd plot and some of the worst acting ever—yet over time it developed a cult following; you could practically say it became a success after years of failure. It’s crazy to think that a movie with everything going against it turned out to be so bad that it became a cult classic, right? Have you ever seen it? If you’re planning to watch it—even just to laugh at how terrible it is—consider yourself warned about the garbage you’re in for, lol.
I remember seeing really bad reviews for the 2022 Lightyear movie—which is exactly why I’m asking. I haven't seen it yet because all the negative stuff I read totally put me off. Plus, it isn't even based on the classic animated series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command; I would have loved a movie based on that, but clearly, they aren't going to do it. So, since I haven't watched it, I want to know your opinion if you have: is it actually a piece of crap, or are the critics just haters and the movie is actually good?

🎥 About the Film
Toy Story 5 brings Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the gang back for another adventure, this time exploring the growing influence of technology on children and the challenges traditional toys face in a world increasingly dominated by screens and digital devices.
The film tackles some very relevant modern-day issues, including screen time, the impact of technology on childhood, and how bullying can take place through digital platforms. It's a message that will undoubtedly resonate with many parents and families.
🍿 My Review
I might be in the minority here, but I just didn't enjoy Toy Story 5 as much as I hoped I would.
I understand what Pixar was trying to achieve with this instalment. The themes surrounding technology, children's screen habits and online bullying are important, particularly in today's world. There is certainly a worthwhile message at the heart of the film, and I can appreciate the intention behind it.
Unfortunately, for me, the story itself just didn't really get going. It felt like a bit of a non-starter, lacking the spark and excitement that made the earlier films so memorable. While it wasn't outright bad, I found myself struggling to get invested in the overall adventure.
For a franchise with such a strong history of emotional storytelling, memorable characters and genuinely entertaining adventures, I expected something that would leave a bigger impression. Instead, this felt like a rather unnecessary addition to the series.
I can see why others might enjoy it, especially families who appreciate the film's underlying message, but having an important message doesn't automatically make for a great movie.
🏁 Final Verdict
Toy Story 5 isn't a complete disaster, but it was a disappointment for me. The message is relevant, and I respect what Pixar was aiming for, but the story simply wasn't strong enough to make this another standout entry in the franchise.
Sometimes, it's okay to let a beloved series rest rather than keep adding new chapters.
⭐ My Rating: 2/5 – Not terrible, but not one I'd rush to watch again.
Some intriguing new details about the upcoming live-action Naruto film have surfaced, suggesting it will remain fairly faithful to the original story, though not a completely direct adaptation. Reportedly, Sakura is much stronger from the start and already has access to her abilities. Naruto is portrayed as a ninja-history enthusiast, adding an interesting twist to his character. He won’t be romantically interested in Sakura; instead, Sasuke develops feelings for her. Sakura comes from a wealthy family, with her father dying during the Nine-Tails’ attack and her mother depicted as rich and somewhat snobbish. The film also changes how Jinchūriki function, making it a bloodline-based ability, so only certain people can host a Tailed Beast. If true, these changes seem significant while still aiming to preserve the spirit of Naruto. As for What I, personally, think I am not going to watch it, it's going to feel like Dragon Ball Evolution Avatar Last Airbender all over again.
What is your favorite music streaming app? Do you prefer Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Tidal or Youtube for streaming music?
There are some franchises that died and they deserve to be revisited, like "The Matrix", it still has a lot of potential. It has good content and people are still hungry for good content. They can remake them with better production values. So which one would you bring back?
I think the one movie I did walk out of the cinema during was Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.
I was falling asleep to it.
Name a Celebrity or more that you had a crush on, either now or when you were younger. It can also be of any gender. For me, growing up, it was Alexandra Daddario & Megan Fox; this was like when I was 11-13. Currently, since I guess I was 16 or 17, it has been Ariana Grande. I was even an Arianator (Super Fan) until I grew out of it when I was 19 -20 years old.
GTA 6 is currently the most anticipated game in the world; are you excited to play it? The only catch is that you need to buy a PS5 to play it—otherwise, you won't be able to—and there is no word yet on when it will be released for PC.
I hadn't been to the cinema in over 20 years, that was until May 2025. The last time I went to the cinema before last year was when I went with friends from school to see Austin Powers: Goldmember.
In 2025, I went to the cinema with my daughter to watch a live concert during the tour that j-hope from BTS was doing. Not a movie, but it was still at the cinema.
The next time I am going to the cinema will be on April 11th to go see BTS live in Goyang, and we can't wait!
What was the last movie you watched in the cinema?
In my opinion, I would say yes 100%. The board of Manchester United got it wrong when they decided to sack Ruben Amorim and replaced him with Carrick.
Right now, Manchester United look like a shadow of what they used to be with the rebuild Ruben Amorim started.
What do you think?
Space and astronomy is a really fascinating subject. We have learned so much about space during our childhood. This is something that inspired many people to create mivjes about space exploration. I would love to watch several movies related to space exploration. However, I am not sure what kind of movie should I watch. Could anyone recommend me any great space movie?
I last played Subway Surfers on mobile.
The cinema can give you that big screen you needed, the sound, and the energy of the crowd. When something funny happen in the movie, everybody laughs together and when something scary happen in the movie, you would hear people scream. But the cost of ticket is too high now. Home viewing is cheaper, you can pause when you need to pee, you can also rewind if you miss something. Which one do you prefer?
With how we’ve got the smart tv and big screens now at home, not many see going to the cinema as worth it.
Some now prefer watching all their favourite shows in the comfort of their homes instead of visiting the cinema. Are you that type of person?
I am not a huge movie watcher, but when I was younger, I watched a lot of movies with my parents and my brothers.
One of my favourite movies of all time and the one that always made me cry was The Neverending Story. I loved that movie, no matter how much it made me cry growing up.
What is your favourite movie of all time?
Growing up, I was a huge gamer and loved to play almost any game. I had my favourites, though, and the one I remember that was my biggest favourite growing up would have been Yoshi's Island on the Super Nintendo.
Growing up, what was your favourite video game to play? Do you still play that game now?
Some movies are entertaining while you're watching them, but you forget about them a few days later. Then some movies stay with you for years. You remember the characters, certain scenes, the soundtrack, or even how you felt the first time you watched them. Everyone seems to have that one movie they can watch repeatedly without getting tired of it. What do you think makes a movie truly memorable: the story, characters, emotions, performances, or something else?
Have you ever watched a movie and figured out the ending long before it happened? Sometimes you can identify the villain, predict who will survive, or even guess the big plot twist within the first 30 minutes. Do you think movies are becoming more predictable, or have we just become better at guessing what happens next?
I recently started watching Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story on Netflix and I'm five episodes in so far — and I'm really enjoying it!
The series is the latest instalment in the Monster anthology from Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. This season focuses on the infamous Lizzie Borden case, which dates back to 1892.
Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe at their home in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was eventually acquitted, but the case has remained one of the most famous and controversial murder mysteries in American history.
The series stars Ella Beatty as Lizzie Borden, alongside Vicky Krieps, Charlie Hunnam, Rebecca Hall, Billie Lourd and Sarah Paulson. It takes the historical events and turns them into a dark, dramatic crime series, exploring Lizzie, her family and the events surrounding the murders.
I've really been enjoying the atmosphere and mystery of it so far. It's definitely one of those shows that makes you want to keep watching to see what happens next!
👀 Has anyone else started watching it?
And if you've never heard of it before, does it sound like something you'd watch?
October is just around the corner, and with that comes the month of Halloween and all things spooky.
I have known poeple to make lists with one or two movies to watch each day through October, or as I like to call it, Spooky Month.
Do you have a horror movie list or even just a movie list that you check off in October? What is on your list?
UFC have seen so many great fighters over the years in the hurt business. To so many people, Jon Jones is arguably the best but for me, it's not him that's my favorite. Islam Makhachev is my guy. He can wrestle, grapple and box. He's a complete fighter.
Who's your favorite UFC fighter in this modern era?
We all have activities that we love to engage in when we are less busy. I have a list of them, which involves reading and playing tennis.
Then when I’m not doing these I sleep to my satisfaction.
What do you do in your free time?
In my opinion, I think it's going to be either De Zebri - Tottenham manager or Carrick - Manchester United head coach. De Zebri haven't won any games this season in EPL and Tottenham sit 20th on the EPL table.
Who's your money on to be sacked first in English Premier League?
If I were to pick one, then I would certainly pick playing video games. I really love playing video gamesm in fact, I used to play video games for hours in the past. I have never been a fan of watching movies. Playing video games is so awesome because you could pick so many games and enjoy those games for several hours whereas a movie may last for a couple of hours. So, what would you choose and why?
