Anyone else hate the heat?
Yeah, I do. I am not looking forward to the summer at all. In the midwest here it gets super humid and makes it feel hot as balls.

Married or dating someone?
Are you dating anyone or married? How long? What led to you guys meeting? I've only ever done the silly online dating stuff and then a few relationships IRL which didn't pan out. Ya know being teenagers and all, it never was meant to be or work IMO. As for dating or married? No, not married or dating.

Has your favorite game been turned into a TV series?

We used to live in an era where hearing "they're making a TV show based on a game" was an automatic red flag. Lately though, adaptations have been a mixed bag - some turned out incredible, while others completely missed what made the games great in the first place.

Curious where everyone's favorite games land on this. Has your favorite franchise ever been made into a show? Did they actually pull it off, or did they butcher the lore?

And if your favorite game hasn't been adapted yet, what game are you still waiting to see on screen?

Review jCodes

Board URL: https://jcodesresources.com/

jCodes is a board I started on Jcink in mid-2018.

Its primary purpose is to provide abundant resources, documentation, support, and request fulfillment to those in need.

I chose Jcink because it seemed in serious need of a resource board with an abundance of content for Jcink forum owners, and I came from the days of InvisionFree, so Jcink was easy to become acquainted with.

All constructive criticism is welcome.

You can only play one genre of gaming...

If I could only play one genre forever, I'm locking in competitive FPS games. Nothing matches the pure adrenaline, mechanical precision, and endless replayability of competing against real players.

No two matches ever play out the same. Whether it's tactical round-based shooters or battle royales, the skill ceiling is basically endless. You don't play competitive shooters to relax - you play for the rush of clutching a 1v3 and constantly grinding to improve.

What genre are you going to pick?

What do you miss about the Old Net?

For those who used the internet pre-2009 what are some things you miss about the old net?

There’s a lot for me but the big ones is I hate algorithms, and I hate how everything turned into monetization. You cannot do anything without “But will it make me money though?”

Do you try to fix your faulty gadgets yourself?

I don’t have any technical training to be able to do that, but my next door neighbor has most of the tools required for hardware repair. It’s not as if he learned anywhere, but he has been doing trial error until he became quite good at it.

Have you ever tried to repair a faulty gadget yourself?

What was the first cellphone you owned?

Remember back in the day when there were multiple different cellphone manufacturers and each came with their own charging cables? Man those were the days! Can you recall the very first cellphone you owned? Mine was a Samsung Glide, I got back in 2011. I didn’t have a cellphone until I got my first job and I was 20 years old. I wanted a Motorola Razr phone in high school but my parents couldn’t afford it. I used that Glide until 2013, when I got my first smart phone which was a Galaxy S2.

Invent a Useless Invention

Welcome to the workshop! 😂

Your challenge is to invent something completely pointless that nobody actually needs, but that sounds hilarious.

It can be as ridiculous as you like!

A few examples to get things started:

  • A remote control that only works when you're standing next to the TV.

  • An umbrella that collects rainwater and pours it onto your shoes.

  • A self-stirring cup that spills your drink every time it stirs.

The rules:

  1. Invent a completely useless product.

  2. Give it a name.

  3. Explain what it does and why absolutely nobody needs it.

I'll start!

The Snooze Alarm 3000 — an alarm clock that automatically sets itself back another hour whenever you try to turn it off. 😴

What ridiculous invention can you come up with?

Are You a Good Cook
Well, I like to call myself a good cook. This conviction is based on the fact that people who have eaten my food (parents, siblings, cousins, relatives, and friends) usually praise my food. I am really good at cooking Indian dishes as well as Chinese dishes. I can make really good Chicken Manchurian and Biryani. I am also good at cooking local dishes.

How do you deal with a biased moderator?

Dealing with a biased moderator could be a really tough thing to do. Moderators are supposed to be fair when it comes to dealing with members. However, if moderators are themselves so biased, this could make things really complicated. Spotting a biased moderator could be tough as well. So, how do you deal with a biased moderator?

How many sections do you need on your forum?

A forum is a type of website where people discuss various things. This is the primary reason why a forum may have many different sections. Having too many sections is not something that I recommend. However, having few sections isn't something that I recommend either. So, when it comes to online forums, how many sections do you need on your forum?

Who taught you to cook?
To be able to cook, we all would have needed to be taught by someone. Some of us may have been taught to cook by our mum or even our grandma and others may have been taught by another family member or even a friend.

I was taught to cook by both my mum and my grandma growing up, most of what I know now is what I was taught and the rest is what I learned myself.

Living alone or with someone else?
I prefer having my own personal space personally. Btw, ever since dad hasn't been abusive, I've moved back to my parents, I don't mind living with them. But in separate bedrooms. I simply must have my own privacy and "me" time. What about you? Do you prefer living alone or with someone else in your eyes?

Has the internet made people more connected or more isolated?

This is one of the most interesting debates out there. Many people believe that the internet has made people much more isolated due to the fact that now many people prefer using the internet instead of socializing in a physical manner. On the other hand, many people think that the internet has made it possible for people to connect with each other in a much better manner due to social media. What do you think about this?
