We picked the Home for Life winners and closed the contest. And I want to admit something: reading your entries was the best part of the whole contest. Not the picking. The reading. Dozens of people describing a place that matters to them, in a few honest sentences. So we are doing it again, and this time the prize is something we can get creative with!
We are building one community a custom theme.
One board gets a theme designed around its community and built by us. We start from what your board is about, its mood, its people, the things it argues about, and we design from there. And of course your preferences and ideas.
You get light and dark. You get desktop and mobile. It is built in Theme Studio, on your board, so you can keep tweaking it after we hand it over. And it is yours alone. We never republish it, and we do not build a second one like it.
It does not matter where you are today. Run a classic v1 board? If you win, we move you to 2.0 together first, free upgrade! 😉 And then the theme goes on top. Halfway through a trial? Fine. Never started a forum? Pitch me the community you have been carrying around, and if you win, we build the theme the moment your board is up.
Tell us about your community in a few sentences. What it is about, who it is for, and what it should look like if it looked like itself. That is the whole entry. No purchase, no credit card, no strings.
I read every entry myself and pick the one where a theme would make the biggest difference. Honest warning, again: this is a judged contest, not a raffle. A small board with a strong identity and a stock theme that fights it will beat a big number every time in my book.
Entries close October 15 at 23:59 CET. The winner is announced here on the blog in the last week of October, and I will email them personally. One entry per person, ForumSpark staff cannot enter, and the rest of the small print lives on the contest page.
If you do not win: the Marketplace themes are still yours, and Theme Studio is open to everyone. Make your board look like your community anyway.
