Your work, on hundreds of boards.

ForumSpark communities install what you make: themes, widgets, integrations, and soon full postbit templates. You bring the ideas, the platform brings the guardrails.

Four ways to build

Everything ships as data: templates, packages and API calls. Nothing you make runs code on ForumSpark's servers, so boards can install your work with confidence.

Custom Templates

Reshape the postbit, topic rows, profile cards and whole pages with template overrides against published contracts.

Themes

The postbit becomes yours

Override the post rail, topic rows and profile cards with template code against a frozen contract. Unknown variables render empty, errors fall back to the stock design, and members never see a broken board. Character sheets, flair, badges: if it fits beside a post, it fits here.

Contracts and the snippet library land with the release.

A whole identity in one file

Theme packages carry CSS over 100+ documented variables, layout slots and dark mode settings. Boards install them in one click from the directory. If you have ever skinned a forum, this is that, with distribution.

Ship a block, not an app

A widget is your HTML template plus a settings form you define. Admins fill in the settings and place it in any widget area: sidebars, headers, profiles, footers. Server status, stream schedules, social panels, whatever their board is missing.

Wire boards to anything

Board-scoped tokens with per-resource abilities, full CRUD over forums, topics, replies, users, groups and themes, and HMAC-signed webhooks on every event that matters. The Discord bridge your community keeps asking for is an afternoon.

Ready-made customizations

Custom Templates ships with an official add-on library: six packs any board installs in one click from its extension directory, and every snippet doubles as a copy-paste starting point. Browse the cookbook.

From your desk to every board's directory

1

Register

Sign in with your Hub account and register your app: name, type, category.

2

Build

Develop against your own board with the visual builder, full docs and live previews.

3

Submit

Automated security checks validate every package, then a quick listing review.

4

Publish

Approved apps appear in the extension directory of every board's admin panel.

Bring something only you would build.

The communities are already here. The RP boards want character sheets, the gaming boards want server panels, and every board wants to look like nobody else's.
