Mine is " You can't spend the money that is not in your disposal” My uncle told me this in 2019 when I was spending all my salaries and by the 12th, I had already spent everything and wondering where it went. Now, any time I received my salary, I move 30% to a savings account. I only spent what I have at my disposal.

As far I am concerned, I would first use personal savings, a business plan, and a bank loan or investor funding to cover startup costs, working capital, and equipment. A clear cash-flow and repayment plan would strengthen the funding application.

A mortgage could work if I am buying premises or need lower-interest secured funding, Some people think the property is at risk if repayments cannot be met. What's your take?

Personally, I have been using Quicken for years. I have no major complaints, thought it has had quirks over the years.

I still don't think that AI-generated music beat track will ever stand where authentic live studio vibe is. I listen to one AI track last week, the beat was ok, but the lyrics sound awkward to me. With streaming algorithms already pushing fake artists left and right, local beatmakers might find it very tough to remain relevant. AI is already giving us good beats but the lyrics are still poor. Reading books will always be a pleasurable activity. Most people ask, “Have you read any good books lately?” I ask if you've read any “old books” lately.

I love old books. Books that were published decades ago and are still relevant to today's world.

This thread is for “old book” suggestions. (Old book = Published in the year 2000 or before.)

I'll start by suggesting “People of the Lie” by M. Scott Peck, first published in 1983. It was mentioned in a Korean drama, and I checked to see if it was a real book. I figured nobody would give their book a title like that. I was wrong. It's a real book!

I think its content is relevant to today because – I won't name any names, but I think politicians all around the world must have read this book and copied some “examples”.

I do not watch boxing matches that much. However, I have watched such matches rarely in my life. I know that many people live this sport and watch it regularly. In fact, many people have even dreamt of becoming a great boxer at some point. So, do you watch boxing matches?

Streaming services have thousands of movies, yet it is still way too easy to spend your entire dinner break scrolling through rows of thumbnails without actually picking anything. How do you usually pick your next movie or series when you sit down to relax?

These days we have streaming, DVDs, etc. But back in my day, there were those movies that families would watch together every year because they only came on TV once a year.

I'm not sure if I chose to watch them over and over, OR if it was TRADITION! LOL.

Earlier today I was at a local Tribal casino. Not to engage in gaming, but for a much more relaxing reason: a full body, deep-tissue massage. Ah!

Bitcoin’s stuck in that annoying spot where nobody can call it trading between $64k -$60Ks, both sides making a case for real every time btc decides to dip some crazy gurus step in and buy it back up and sellers aren’t backing down either for the past few days im always skeptical when analyzing trades on btc honestly for now I would say it’s a wait and see game
