​I just had to drop in and talk about Disney Dreamlight Valley because I am completely and utterly hooked. What started as "I'll just check it out for half an hour" has turned into a total obsession—I genuinely love playing this game every chance I get. It has easily become my favorite way to unwind, relax, and completely escape into a cozy world.

​A few big reasons why I love it so much:

• ​The Ultimate Low-Stress Vibe: There is zero pressure. No loss mechanics, no punishing timers, and no rush. Whether I’m fishing down at Dazzle Beach, harvesting crops, or just listening to the soundtrack, it’s the absolute best way to decompress after a long day.

• ​Nostalgic Character Interactions: Walking around the Valley and seeing Stitch running past, Wall-E tending his garden, or Mickey stopping by for a chat never gets old. Unlocking their quests and hanging out with them feels like stepping right into interactive Disney shorts.

• ​Endless Customization: Designing the Valley is half the fun. Between arranging biomes, decorating houses, and messing around with Touch of Magic to design custom clothes, the creative freedom keeps me coming back for hours.

• ​Satisfying Gameplay Loop: There’s always a fun goal to chase—working through a Star Path, checking Scrooge’s shop for daily stock, cooking new recipes, or completely remodeling a neighborhood to fit a specific theme.

​It really hits that perfect balance of life-sim mechanics, pure nostalgia, and total cozy perfection. I can't recommend it enough!

A lot has changed with the way work is done. Nowadays, a lot of people prefer to work from home instead of going to the office. Are you that type that likes working from home?

Aside from the good story and quality gameplay, the soundtrack from most of the games that many of us have played might be one of the things that keep making us go back to replay a game. Have you got a favourite soundtrack from any game that you’ve played? What game was that?

Growing up, we might have had different perspectives of what life is going to look like. Some of us might be wishing that things go a particular way because that is the way that we expect life to be. As an older person, is there a piece of advice that you wished your younger self had at 18 years old?

Depending on the time of year and what kind of drink I am craving, and whether it is a hot or cold drink, it depends on my favourite drink at the time.

When it comes to hot drinks, I prefer black tea, and when it comes to cold drinks, I either prefer Pepsi Max or Sprite.

I’ve taken a look at Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story and given my thoughts on the latest season, including the story, performances, returning Monster cast members, and some of the major historical liberties the series takes.

The review also looks at Sarah Paulson’s portrayal of Aileen Wuornos, the fictionalised relationship between Lizzie Borden and Bridget “Maggie” Sullivan, and why I actually wish the Wuornos storyline had either been explored further or saved for its own season.

Despite the historical inaccuracies, I found the season really entertaining, with some fantastic performances and plenty to keep things interesting.

A lot of people whine about how college didn’t pay off. But the problem is that you can expect to be entitled to work with a college degree, unless the degree is in nursing or something.

Well, the way I look at it is that you probably need to do more of your own initiative. For instance, a person with a philosophy degree (the classic useless degree) could attempt a successful blog or forum - and another person could attempt a math instruction video channel (something I want to do).

But a person could also land some high paying blue collar job after graduating college, cause you know, everyone who is educated isn’t weak 😁(joke) - but it’s nice to know the degree was for something.

Would you rather be a character in your favorite movie or favorite TV show?

Would you rather have an extra hour for sleep every morning or to finish off work one hour earlier or just to handle home tasks? I’d choose home tasks because building your home is building your sanctuary. For my peace, for my own good. Which one would you pick & why?

Would you rather cook or clean up again?

Well I’m pretty much a useless cook in the kitchen, so I’d do the dishes, the laundry, mow the lawn & take out the garbage. I don’t want to waste food nor my precious time. What about you? Which everyday chore will you happily eliminate?

Would you rather always have your phone fully charged-operational or have very fast Wi-FI? I’d choose my charged phone, because too many inconveniences may arise & distractions may sprout from nowhere. Plus, it's irritating when you're out of battery, when you are outside & in the open areas, that's the worst.

Would you rather be respected or liked?

Board games are something I used to play a lot when I was a kid. I always remember that my mum, my brothers and I would all sit and play board games such as Monopoly, Mouse Trap, and Cluedo on a Friday night each week, and we used to really enjoy it.

We still have quite a few board games, and my kids often like to get them out and play them together.

Do you still play board games? Which board games are your favourite?

For the first time in years, I’ve caught a cold! I’m not used to this misery. Because the covid vaccines ruined me and now I’m severely allergic to polyethylene glycol, I have to be very careful with what medicines I take. I did find a cough syrup today that didn’t have PEG in it and my husband went out to buy it for me right away. It seems to have helped for just a bit. Hopefully I can sleep tonight.

Do you have any experience of your smartphone being hacked? I've never experienced it and can't imagine how to stop it. Hackers are the biggest threat in cybersecurity.

People who lock their smartphone usually use biometrics like finger print or facial recognition and pin passwords.

Which one is your favourite for locking your smartphone?

I don't think I'm the only one who plays rain sounds or something similar at night when going to sleep—or am I? I usually put on rain sounds for sleeping on YouTube because it really relaxes me and helps me sleep well. Does anyone else here do that?

Do you have a helper at home? Some people can do without house helps or maids because they're too busy to do everything for themselves and there's too much work at home for them.

Have you ever considered hiring a maid?

I’ve been hearing that people have to pay around $2500 in rent alone in the USA, so I did a quick search and saw many listings of 2bd/1ba (at the very least) rentals listed at $800-$1200 in Los Angeles. They were looking good too, furniture was nice.

So my question is, where the $2500 comes from? I’ve never checked it before.
