What's new on ForumSpark
The Ad Manager is now available on the Earn and Scale plans.
You create packages for the spots on your board, like the header, the sidebar or between posts, and decide what they cost. Members order a banner from Advertise in their user menu, you approve it, and they pay you directly through your own payment provider. Advertisers can follow their views and clicks under My ads.
Spots nobody has bought simply show nothing, and you can hide ads for any group you like. You can read more about it in our documentation.
Moving from phpBB? You can now import your forum yourself, straight from your admin panel under Import data.
Export your database, upload the file and check the preview. Your members, groups, forums, topics, posts, polls, private messages, thanks, subscriptions and bans come along, and private forums stay private.
Members keep their phpBB passwords, so there's nothing to reset. Attachments and avatars aren't part of the database, so those aren't included. Other importers on request, so if youโre looking to migrate to ForumSpark, send us a message.
Public club forums no longer show an error to visitors who aren't a member of the club.
Club forums and topics show their breadcrumb.
Clicking a club invitation in your alerts now opens the club.
Creating an event no longer silently fails when something is missing on an earlier step.
The board index shows its breadcrumb again.
On 1.0 boards, the stylesheet editor, member search, file manager, API tokens, menu manager and credit transactions screens in the admin panel look and work as they should again.
Credits extension profile display fix. Weโve also added a new pop up menu when clicking the currency badge on the profile bit.
Pages title in browser tab fix.
