Packaging

Every extension ships as a single JSON package file. The format depends on the type, and each is documented on its own page: Template add-ons, Themes, Widgets, and Script injection.

Validation and scanning

Uploads are validated against the type's spec and scanned for risky patterns automatically. Warnings show on your app page; high-severity findings block submission until resolved. The scan looks at things like dynamic code execution, network calls, and storage access, with severity depending on the extension type.

Size limits

• Template add-ons: up to 20 snippets of 65,536 characters each, 12 fields, CSS up to 250,000 characters.
• Themes: CSS up to 250,000 characters, layout templates up to 50,000 characters each.
• Widgets: HTML template and CSS up to 50,000 characters each.
• Scripts: JS up to 500,000 characters, CSS up to 250,000 characters.

Versions

Each approved package becomes a version with its changelog, shown on your directory listing. Replacing the package on an approved app resubmits it for a quick re-review.
