The last time I stepped out from Filmhouse, I checked how much I spent on popcorn, drinks, transport and the movie ticket, it was so huge. As much as cinema is interesting, watching movies at home saves you financially. You can pause or even sleep a little if the movie is becoming boring. You can't do that in cinemas. Now, home streaming is winning gradually.
Personally, it's going to be hell to not have music again in the world. Music is one of the best therapy that can fix most awkward feelings. I can't go a day without listening to music because it's part of my life.
Can you imagine your life without music?
Gaza is labeled down. As of now, over 20,000 children and around 38,000 women and girls have been killed in the Gaza since October 2023. We might disagree with the politics but we certainly need to be sensitive towards general people suffering.
Why the world does not care about human suffering?
In wars like the one between the U.S. and Iran, does anyone really win? Or does everyone lose in the end?
Fuel prices seem to keep climbing, and it’s starting to impact everyday life for a lot of people. Whether it’s commuting, running errands, or just getting through the week, it all adds up quickly.
How are you managing it where you are?
Are you:
Driving less or combining trips?
Carpooling or using public transport more?
Switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Just absorbing the cost and pushing through?
Or have you found any clever ways to save on fuel that actually work?
Would love to hear how everyone is coping and what changes (if any) you’ve made lately.

Pay-to-post forums are forums that seem to have become popular since the pandemic, but seem to be somewhat falling when it comes to people wanting to run them because of how much they cost to keep running.
What are your thoughts on pay-to-post forums? Could they work if done right with the right planning?
I'm going to rebrand one of my forums, last year I opened up a forum called Glitch Talk that was dedicated to discussing glitches in video games and software. Now I plan on rebranding the forum to talk about Glitch the indie animation studio! I don't have too much knowledge into fixing glitches in my favorite games, I had hoped the community would have motivated me to do so but that's not the case it seems. And the domain name was renewed last month so I plan on rebranding it like I mentioned before. Anyways have you ever rebranded a forum before? I'm going to archive the threads and posts already made on the forum so they're not completely lost. Did you do this as well when you rebranded your forum?

Kids these days have access to gadgets compared to what we grew up with in our days. Sometimes I see them in public places, in schools and other settings and I just can’t help but marvel at how glued they are to their gadgets.
Imagine a student so engrossed in their devices when there is a teacher in their class.
It is a major concern.
Do you think the use of these gadgets by kids should be monitored by adults?

So which one do you current have installed on your computer? I have a dual booted setup, on a external SSD I have Ubuntu installed and on my internal SSD I have Windows 11 installed.

I remember being a young kid in the early 90's and coming across one of my uncle's old 8-tracks. I was at awe since I didn't know what the heck it was lol. My dad explained to me that it's similar to a regular cassette tape, I was a toddler and still didn't understand. I wonder how many people here listened to music on a 8-track tape?
