I've seen a lot of new tech come out that has been incredibly overhyped, whether it's a new pair of headphones, TV, computer, etc. What comes to mind instantly is the Apple Vision Pros. This was so overhyped, all over YouTube when it first came out and then lost all its hype after a few weeks and people started to return them. But every now and then something actually delivers. What's one tech purchase you made or someone else you know made that genuinely exceeded your expectations?

I think most laptops have keyboards that have RGB or just a backlight so you can see in the dark when you type. But perhaps you have a desktop computer and the keyboard doesn't have a backlight? My keyboard has RGB lights, but it doesn't cycle through the colors you can just pick between green (which is the default), red, purple, yellow, blue, white, and teal. I typically have it set to the default color since green is my favorite color.

if you are starting a forum today and want to use a premium software for your forum, what would you choose? I have used only Xenforo and I like it so if I am to start a new forum with a premium software, it would always be Xenforo. I like to use Xenforo for two reasons, one it is easier than most software and it also is cheaper.

I was scrolling through YouTube trailers, then I remembered how terrible the “Edge of Tomorrow” trailer looked back then. I thought it was another boring Tom Cruise action movie. But the actual movie shocked me completely!!! It was one of the smartest sci-fi films i've watched in years. Sometimes bad marketing kills good movies before people even try them. Meanwhile some movies now have great trailers and terrible stories.

I was just checking my old movie folder then I remembered the plot twist in “Shutter Island.” I didn't see that thing coming at all. I even paused the movie and stared at the wall for like 5 minutes 🤣. These days trailers spoil everything before the movie even drops. Back then, one proper twist could shock you for the entire week.

There are a lot of movies that have won awards in the past for best story and all that. Those movies got those awards because fans recommended and talked good things about them. However, do you think that there is a movie that has won an award in the past that didn't merit such an award?

Netflix and related streaming apps have made it easier for people to now stay at home while enjoying movies that, on a normal day, would have made them visit the cinema. I've also noticed that the number of people who talk about going to the cinema has reduced over time. Does that mean that cinemas won't be a thing in the future just like we have a decline with music cds as related to music?

There are not too many movies that I can honestly say that I would watch over and over, but when it comes to the Harry Potter movies, I could watch them over and over without fail from the beginning without issue.

What movie could you watch over and over and not get bored with?

What's the best Batman movie?

Everyone have their own favorite colour. Mine happens to be black and purple. I love white but it's too difficult to keep clean. Purple is the only colour I hate so much.

What's your favorite colour?

If my life has a soundtrack, it wouldn't be just one clean song, it would be a mix of songs. But I would rather prefer a calm but confident tune. So yeah, I love that steady but stubborn kind of music.🤣 It's to remind me that the struggle continues.🤣

Even though I love meat, I don't eat meat much, my food is largely vegetarian. My daily diet consists of rice, bread, green leafy vegetables, root vegetables, and other kinds of vegetables. I eat meat products only a couple of times in a week.
What do you eat more, plant based food or animal based food?

What computer games and systems you into? Why is that the case? How would you contrast your view of computer gaming to that of console gaming?

A lot has changed in our gaming world in the past two decades. For example, we don't use to spend a lot of money after we've purchased a game since we are sure about using only our skills to progress in the game. It is different nowadays as those who don't spend might end up being outplayed by others who are buying resources in the game. What else would you say have changed in the gaming community in the past 20 years?

Resident evil is one of the most popular games and there are so many people who like this game. I have played resident evil 3 and it was a really fantastic game and I really enjoyed it. So, do you love to play resident evil games?

With gaming being so online now, you will find that a lot of games tend to undergo updates, and some quite frequently, to help keep the game fresh and bring new things to the game.

Whenever I know there has been or is going to be a new update on a game that I enjoy, I will always check it out. For example, Fortnite have just had an update today, and I am going to check out the new update to see what is new.

Do you always check out updates on video games you enjoy?

The thing is that playing games is emotional for some and many would react in different ways when the game is not going the way that they wanted. Have you ever gotten into a fist fight with anyone while playing a game? If yes, kindly share what led to it.

As gamers, the one thing we would all love would be to be able to have the most recent consoles, especially if they are consoles that have exclusive games that we enjoy playing.

I have the Xbox Series X at the moment, but I would love to get the Nintendo Switch 2, given the chance, as I am a huge fan of Nintendo and have loved my Nintendo Switch that I have had since 2018.

Which console would you love to have that you do not have at the moment?

Gemni is one of latest AI app that's used for image generation. I was using Midjourney before someone introduced me to Gemni. I must say that I was impressed with the app, so it's why I'm now combining using it with Midjourney.

Do you know about the Gemni AI app?

Geocities was one of the first places I started out when I first started creating my own websites. I remember that Geocities was the place where I started to learn about HTML and CSS, and from there, I taught myself more.

I remember the first site I created on Geocities was a fan site for the band Five, and then I also created a fan site for a singer I was a fan of as well.

Do you remember Geocities?

What is the weirdest food combination you actually enjoy?

Chat bots are AI that create scheduled posts and replies on forums. The aim of chat bots is to make the forums more lively and bubble with contents.
But many argue that it makes the community lose the human touch and floods it with AI contents.

What do you think?

Chat Addicts is back!

As some of you may remember, Chat Addicts was originally launched in 2009. Unfortunately, it was later closed due to rising hosting costs and the loss of the database following a hard drive failure.

Since then, I have made a few attempts to relaunch the platform. The most recent relaunch ultimately led to its closure, both due to dissatisfaction with how certain features were implemented and, more personally, following the sudden and unexpected passing of my mother less than six months after my father.

Over time, I have continued to reflect on Chat Addicts and on how much I miss the classic, old-school general chat forums. With that in mind, I have decided to revive Chat Addicts once more, this time with a focus on allowing it to grow slowly and organically, while preserving the traditional forum experience that many of us value.

I sincerely hope you will choose to support Chat Addicts again, and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together this time.

if you want to use an open source what software would you use, why would you use that software? I have used open source software like phpbb, mybb, and smf. If I am to use an open source, I would go with SMF, it is easy to work on, and it also has a great look.
