Not every conversation needs to be about banners, websites, or AdminBanner.
This is the place for everything else: general chat, webmaster talk, side projects, things happening around the web, or whatever else happens to be on your mind.
You can use this section to get to know other members a little better, talk about what you’re working on outside AdminBanner, share something interesting you came across, or simply start a conversation that doesn’t belong anywhere else.
Keep it relaxed, keep it friendly, and feel free to jump in.

Show off your latest banner designs, get feedback on something you’re working on, or browse what others across the network have created.
If you’ve recently created a new banner, are experimenting with a different style, or simply want another opinion before putting something live, share it here.
The more people contribute, the more useful this section becomes as a place to exchange ideas, offer feedback, and find inspiration from others across the network.

A dedicated place for AdminBanner members to showcase their websites, projects, and communities.
Share what you’re working on, tell us a little about your site, and give others a chance to take a look. Feedback, questions, and discussion are always welcome.
It’s also a good place to discover other projects using AdminBanner and support fellow members of the network.

AdminBanner is always going to be a work in progress, and feedback from the people actually using it is one of the best ways for us to improve.
If there’s something you think could work better, something that feels unclear, a feature you’d like to see, or even just a small quality-of-life improvement, feel free to share it here.
Ideas don’t have to be fully thought out either. Sometimes a simple suggestion can lead to something much better.
We’re happy to hear feedback on anything related to AdminBanner, including the website, banner network, forum, usability, design, features, or anything else you think could make the service better. Constructive criticism is always welcome too. If something isn’t working for you, we’d rather know about it.

Greetings everyone! Welcome back to AdminBanner. We’ve been online for more than a year, which feels like a pretty good moment to look back, refresh a few things, and start thinking about what comes next.
If you visit the homepage today, you’ll notice it looks completely different.
We’ve rebuilt and redesigned the site from the ground up, with a much clearer focus on what AdminBanner is and what we want it to be. For the new design, we went back to where the original idea came from: the older web, when banner exchanges, webmaster communities and independently run websites were everywhere.
So instead of chasing another clean, flat, modern design, we leaned into that nostalgia a little.
The result is a homepage that feels much more like AdminBanner.
But this update is more than a new coat of paint. The site has been reorganized, cleaned up and made considerably easier to understand, especially for anyone discovering the network for the first time.
And with that, we’re opening registrations for new websites again.
If you’ve been thinking about joining AdminBanner, adding another site to the network, or simply giving it another try, now is a good time to jump in.
Going forward, we’ll also have a brand new AdminBanner forum powered by ForumSpark. We’ve matched the forum theme closely with the main website so it feels like part of the same place rather than something separate.
We’ll use the forum to announce updates, gather feedback and ideas from the community, and give everyone a small place to talk about the websites being showcased across the network.
There’ll also be room for banner design discussion and feedback if you need a second opinion on something you’re working on, along with some light webmaster and off-topic chat.
It’s not intended to become some huge community project. There are other sites more suited for that. It’s simply a place for the people using AdminBanner to interact a little more, share what they’re building, and help us improve the service along the way.
There’s a few new features and changes. First off all, running multiple sites now get their own dedicated page. It was unclear in the past, but this has been revised completely. The Discover page shows an Invite as partner button. More about this coming soon. My Network (in Dashboard) shows Where your banner appeared and a dedicated widget for referrals. Earn credits by referring members to AdminBanner. You’ll also notice we have a new banner maker - Easy to use, free of charge and ideal if you don’t have any design skills yourself.
More than anything, this redesign is our way of saying that AdminBanner isn’t going anywhere.
We’re still here, a little older, a little more polished, and ready for the next chapter.
Thanks to everyone who has been part of the network during our first year. ❤️

We have chosen to not have any more pets. It’s nice to pack up and go when we want a day trip or to travel without having to worry about who would take care of our pet or, traveling with them how inconvenient it is.

Imgbox, the servers went down. I kind of paused this project.
When you design something, are you fast or slow to get things done? I’m pretty fast in Canva, and I think what slows me down is finding the right elements that will make the design work.

Yeah unfortunately vBulletin isn't free software. It's still around but it's not as good as it used to be. :\ Gaming forums used to use this software, but most of those either shut down or moved to Xenforo.Yeah the new vB no longer look to what I remember (mostly with that default gray and blue theme). SRB2 Message Boards for example used to run with vB until 2022 or 2023 IIRC when they finally switched to XenForo.

Did you ever get a chance to use Red Hat Linux back in the day? It was a commercial open source version of Linux with the first stable release was on my fifth birthday ironically enough in 1995 but was discontinued in 2004. The OS was merged with Fedora Linux in 2003.

I know we've got a thread for FreeBSD but I figured I would create one for OpenBSD as well. This operating system is better suited for lower end tech such as your router where security is a higher priority than user friendly GUIs. If I had to pick to use FreeBSD or OpenBSD, I would definitely choose FreeBSD but honestly I still prefer Linux. Have you ever messed with OpenBSD before? I love how simple their logo looks and the pufferfish looks smug af too haha.

Looks like the author of Convoro restarted this project from scratch since he wasn't too fond of the direction the software was going originally. It's still vibe coded though. If you're interested in reading why he decided to do this here's the thread going over his reasons:

I use alternative Platforms because I favor community. When a "solution" becomes too big, the people behind it seem to fall into the Greed Trap. More money, more profits, anything for more money. Alternative platforms typically offer unique or interesting things that aren't (or can't) be added to the popular platforms. And I'm all for supporting that small guy just starting out.

I like vehicles with AWD due to the area where I live doesn't plow snow right away and we travel from my area to the midwest at least once a year when there might be snow.
Other than that, I'm not too picky except I need a vehicle to hold our luggage, a cooler and extra things we need when we visit family.
