Plans compared

Updated October 21, 2026

Every board starts on a 30 day free trial, and nothing about plans needs deciding on day one. But the plans map to stages of a community's life, and knowing the shape helps you see where yours is heading.

The ladder

  • Free keeps a small board running: the full forum, modest storage, ForumSpark branding on.

  • Starter is the lightweight classic for a forum that just needs to work, with more storage and bulk email.

  • Launch is where serious communities usually begin: branding removal, the Blog, the Media Gallery, the Marketplace, Page Studio, AI topic summaries, and basic member subscriptions.

  • Earn adds the community and money layer: Clubs, full monetization with coupons and paid groups, Priority Support, Ask the Forum, and the AI page generator.

  • Scale is Earn with everything turned up: the most storage, the highest AI allowances, early access to new features and advanced analytics.

Prices and the always-current feature table live on the pricing page at forumspark.net, and your own Premium page in the admin panel shows exactly what your plan includes.

Included on every plan

A custom domain works on every plan, including Free. Your data stays yours at every step: upgrading, downgrading and leaving are all clean moves.

Changing plans

Plans change from Overview, then Premium and apply immediately. Moving down is graceful: features from higher plans go dormant with their data intact, and wake up if you return.

Upgrade when a feature would change your community's week, not before. The board that needs Clubs knows it needs Clubs; until then, the trial taught you what everything does.
