Polls
Polls settle questions: event dates, name votes, the eternal "which starter is best". Any topic can carry one.
Creating a poll
When starting a topic, add the poll: your question, the answer options, and how the poll behaves, like whether voters may pick several options. The poll sits at the top of the topic, with the discussion running underneath as usual.
Voting
Members vote with a click and see the results; the topic then carries both the numbers and the conversation about them, which is the part a plain survey never gives you.
Fewer options make better polls. Four clear choices produce a decision; twelve produce a fragmented pie chart and a second poll. And if you want honest opinions in the replies, post your own vote as a reply instead of steering the question.
