Blocks and sections

Updated October 21, 2026

Everything you build in Page Studio is made of blocks inside sections. This guide is the tour of the toolbox.

Sections first

A section is a horizontal band of the page with its own background, spacing and layout. Sections stack top to bottom, and each can carry one or several blocks side by side. Backgrounds per section are how you get that alternating rhythm every good landing page has.

The blocks

  • Hero: the big opening statement, headline, subline and buttons over a background.

  • Rich text: formatted writing for everything that isn't a headline.

  • Image and Gallery: single visuals or a grid of them.

  • Buttons: calls to action, styled to your theme.

  • Forum: live content from your board, latest topics pulled onto the page automatically. The block that makes the site feel alive.

  • Stats: your community's numbers with an animated count-up.

  • Extension blocks: when extensions are enabled they offer their own blocks, like gallery showcases. Blocks for disabled features stay invisible to visitors, always.

  • Divider, Spacer, Raw HTML and Custom CSS: the utility drawer, for fine control when you want it.

Styling without design school

Blocks read their colors from style presets tied to your board's look, so pages match the forum without you managing two designs. Media comes from your board's file manager, uploaded right where you use it.

The Forum block deserves your best placement. A homepage that shows real, recent conversations converts curious visitors into members far better than any written promise that the community is active.
