Design and themes / Theme Studio

Complete themes

Updated October 21, 2026

Sometimes you don't want to design from your current look, you want a whole new direction: different palette, different mood, light and dark both rebuilt. Complete themes are Theme Studio's way of doing that in one move.

Starting from a complete look

In the Studio you can apply a complete theme: a professionally built set covering every color and setting, both modes included, contrast checked so text stays readable everywhere. It replaces your current draft's look entirely, which is exactly the point; you're choosing a new foundation, then making it yours.

Make it yours afterwards

A complete theme isn't a locked skin, it's a starting position. Everything stays editable: swap the accent for your community's color, put your logo back on top, adjust a background you'd rather have calmer. The complete theme did the coordinated-palette work; you do the personality.

Applying a complete look only changes the theme you're editing, and only saves when you save. Your default theme, the one members see, is untouched until you promote your work.

A comfortable path for a redesign: create a new theme, apply a complete look, personalize it over a few evenings, then switch the default when it's ready. Your members get one clean reveal instead of a week of shifting colors.
