Your board

Bulletins

Updated October 21, 2026

A bulletin is an announcement your whole board can't miss: the banner about this weekend's event, the heads-up about new rules, the welcome note for a wave of new members. They're managed in Appearance, then Bulletins.

Every bulletin with its position, status and schedule.

Anatomy of a bulletin

  • Title and content, written in the editor. Short works best; a bulletin is a poster, not a topic.

  • Position. Where on the board it appears; different placements suit different volumes, from a quiet notice to front and center.

  • Dismissible or not. Dismissible bulletins can be closed by each member once they've read them, and stay closed for that member. Non-dismissible ones stay until you take them down; save those for things that really matter.

  • Schedule. Give a bulletin a start and end date and it handles itself: the event banner appears Monday, vanishes Sunday night, and you never think about it again.

One bulletin at a time is a message; three at a time is wallpaper. If everything is an announcement, nothing is.
