Q&A forums

Updated October 21, 2026

Some conversations aren't really conversations, they're questions waiting for the right answer. A Q&A forum treats them that way: topics become questions, replies become answers, and the best answer gets pinned where everyone can find it.

Turning it on

  1. Open Community, then Section Manager and edit the forum you want to convert, or create a fresh one.

  2. Switch the forum to Q&A mode and save. Existing topics stay exactly as they were; the new behavior applies from here on.

What changes for your members

  • Topics read as questions. On the board index, Q&A forums present their topics in a question style, so members immediately understand what kind of space they're in.

  • Answers can win. The question's author, and your staff, can mark one reply as the best answer. It gets highlighted, and the topic list shows a Solved badge so nobody wastes time on questions that are already handled.

  • Solved is visible everywhere. The green Solved marker follows the topic onto lists and search results, and members can jump straight from the question to the accepted answer.

Q&A forums shine for support boards, modding help, recipe requests, anything where future visitors will arrive from a search with the same question. The Solved badge is doing them a favor before they even ask.

Good companions

Q&A forums pair naturally with topic labels (tag questions by area so helpers find their specialty) and with AI topic summaries on long questions. If your board uses the credits economy, members can even tip a great post when an answer saves their day.
