Member subscriptions
Member subscriptions are how your community pays for itself: members subscribe to a plan you design, get the perks you attach, and the money goes to your own payment account. Patreon energy, but native to your board and without the middleman's cut.

Setting it up
Connect your own Stripe or PayPal under Monetization, then Payment Providers. Subscribers pay you directly.
Create your plans: price, billing period, and what subscribing grants, typically membership of a subscriber group that carries the perks.
Shape the perks through that group: access to a subscriber lounge, a shiny username style, bigger limits. Everything the permission system can grant, a subscription can sell.
Publish your pricing page and let the board handle the rest: joining the group on payment, the grace period and reminder emails when a payment fails, removal when a subscription truly lapses.
Running it
The dashboard shows your subscriber base and revenue at a glance, and coupons give you discounts for launches and win-backs. The machinery, renewals, failed payment dunning, access changes, runs itself.
Basic subscriptions come with Launch; the full toolkit (coupons and the complete monetization suite) comes with Earn and up. And the golden rule of paid perks: sell comfort and shine, never sell moderation outcomes or basic participation.
