Clubs
Clubs are communities inside your community: member-created groups with their own space, their own topics and their own membership. The guild halls, the book circles, the regional chapters; structure your members build themselves.

The Clubs group appears in your sidebar once the extension is on.
How clubs work
Members create a club, others join it, and inside it they get their own discussion space. Clubs can be open to all, or private. As admin you set the frame: whether new clubs need your approval, the default visibility, how many clubs one member may create, and club categories so the directory stays organized.
Your controls
Approval: with it on, new clubs wait for you, which keeps the directory intentional on bigger boards.
Categories: group clubs by kind so browsers find their people.
Limits and costs: cap clubs per member, and if your board runs the credits economy, creating or joining a club can cost credits, which makes club-founding a meaningful act instead of a reflex.
Clubs shine when the main forums are getting crowded with niche interests. Instead of adding a forum for every micro-topic, let the twelve people who care run a club; your board index stays clean and they get a clubhouse.
