Tip a great post
Some posts deserve more than a like: the answer that saved someone's save file, the guide somebody spent a weekend writing. Tipping lets members hand each other credits for exactly those moments.
How it works
With the credits economy on, members can tip any post they appreciate. The tip moves real credits from the tipper to the author, each member can tip a given post once, and tipped posts wear a small chip showing the appreciation. It's peer reward, not staff reward, which is what makes it feel earned.
Why it's healthy for the economy
Tipping gives credits a destination beyond the shop: helping people well becomes a way to earn. The board's rules for gifting keep it sane (a small cut leaves circulation, which keeps the currency from inflating), and the transaction log records everything like any other credit movement.
Tipping rides on the credits economy, so it needs credits enabled first. If your board's culture is built on helpfulness, this pair of features is the closest thing to paying your best members what they're worth.
Staff tipping great posts early sets the tone. The first time a new member gets tipped for a good answer, you've usually made a regular.
