Events
Events give your community a calendar it actually shows up to. Publish upcoming events, let members RSVP with real capacity limits, invite guests from outside the board, and run the door on the day with attendee lists and calendar downloads.
Creating an event
Open Events in the admin panel and create one. Give it a title, a start (and optional end) time, and a location, either a physical address or an online link. Add a cover image and a description, and optionally group it under an event category with its own icon, colour and posting rules.
RSVPs and capacity
Members respond going, maybe or declined straight from the event page.
Set a capacity and ForumSpark enforces it safely, so an event never oversells even when everyone replies at once.
Attendees see a live count and a capacity bar, and get a reminder before the event starts.
Outside guests
Events can reach people who are not members yet. Let attendees bring named guests, and invite people by email with a signed confirm or decline link, no account required. You decide how many guests each attendee may bring.
Running the day
Open the attendee list for any event to see who is coming, and export it to CSV to run the door.
Every event offers a calendar (.ics) download so members can add it to their own calendar.
Each event can have its own discussion topic, so the conversation lives on your forum.
On your board
Add the Upcoming Events widget to any sidebar to surface the next events, and an Events link appears in your board menu automatically once the feature is on.
Plan
Events is included from the Launch plan and up.
